BHLDN Trunk Show

This past week, I had the honor of working with BHLDN (pronounced "beholden") in celebration of their Trunk Show coming to Milwaukee. If you have not heard of BHLDN, they are actually Anthropologie's bridal collection. I have heard so many amazing things about this brand, so it's safe to say that this collaboration was a dream!

The trunk show was held at the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel, which is a gorgeous hotel located downtown Milwaukee right in the Third Ward. I also had the honor of working with them and staying over the weekend of the trunk show. Read all about my amazing experience and staycation here!

BHLDN gifted me this stunning dress to shoot before the show. I am absolutely in love...is it acceptable to wear this everyday?! I am thankful to have been able to work with my favorite local makeup artist Jenna Hayes (@jennahayes3) and hair stylist Amy (@hairbysmash) - seriously, any hair or makeup needs, these gals are the go-to! All images were taken at the Kimpton.

This dress is the Elowen Dress. You can find it here or browse all of the gorgeous gowns at bhldn.com.

On the day of the trunk show, I got to host an Instagram takeover on @bhldn's Instagram stories! They also posted the above image to their page.

During the story takeover, I showed some of my favorite spots to go to in Milwaukee including Stone Creek Coffee (iced vanilla latte, please!), the Milwaukee Public Market, and the Historic Third Ward - all before we headed back to the Kimpton for the trunk show.

At the show, I got to take first pick at all of the gowns. It was so hard to narrow down (I probably had like 20 dresses), but I had to pick my top 5 to show on Instagram. These gowns are absolutely stunning, and also so unique! Most of them were not the traditional white, which is a trend that I'm loving right now. The quality in the detail was amazing too!

My picks (shown below - in order left to right) were the Hearst Gown, Reagan Gown, Guinevere Gown, Radcliffe Gown, and last a two piece that I put together, the Elainne Top and Darla Cami (underneath) paired with the Marissa Skirt.

Also- how gorgeous is this aisle setting?!

I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with such an amazing brand! Brides, if you're reading this- you need to go check out BHLDN right now! They also have occasion dresses, and not everything is a gown! Perfect for prom, weddings, parties, and more! You will fall in love with these gorgeous designs.

Thanks for reading!
