22nd Birthday Yacht Party

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22!

Wow - I can't believe how amazing this last weekend was. I have been showered with so much love from my family and friends who helped celebrate my birthday. I am overwhelmed with joy and so thankful to have all of these wonderful people in my life!

For my actual birthday, Josh and I stayed the night at the LondonHouse Chicago and enjoyed rooftop views and drinks overlooking the Chicago River. On Sunday, I celebrated with my friends with a little birthday get together. My stepdad was kind enough to let us use his boat for the day. We enjoyed the evening watching the sun set over Lake Michigan with flower-infused cocktails in hand. It was truly such a magical night!

Since we were on a boat, I had minimal decor, but sometimes less is more! I added these confetti-filled balloons and birthday banner to the back of the boat for a little pizazz. I also made the floral arrangement myself from a combo of flowers I received for my birthday and some even from my back yard. I used to be a florist, so arranging again was so much fun! And the best part was this beautiful cake from Mia Stav Cakes, who matched my vision exactly. Unfortunately it was ridiculously hot out, so the cake melted a bit, but was still just as gorgeous. Funny story, my dog actually jumped up on the platform and started eating the cake! 😂 Don't worry, she's okay!

I made a little rosé punch cocktail with San Pellegrino, peach juice, and rosé infused with strawberries and edible florals, topped off with a dehydrated orange garnish. I thrifted a variety of vintage glasses to make the drinks look even prettier!

And as always, my babies were the life of the party! Even after the cake eating incident 😂

After dinner, we took some photos out on the pier. If you know me, you know I always love a good photo opportunity! Having a color scheme is the perfect way to keep everything cohesive and it turned out so cute for photos! It was so fun to see everyone's unique take on the pink theme. The sunset was absolutely perfect and made for a gorgeous backdrop too!

I am so thankful for all of these beautiful ladies for coming out and celebrating with me!

And of course I had to snag a photo with Josh too since it was my day and he couldn't say no! 😂
