Weekend of Fashion | UWFW & Mercado Magic
Happy last day of March lovies!
Today I'm sharing all about my fashion filled weekend including details from the UW Fashion Week fashion show in Madison and Mercado Magic in Walker's point!
UW Fashion Week
I was lucky to attend the UWFW finale fashion show hosted last year (see last year's blog post here) and I was so excited to invited back! This year was bigger and better than ever with a whopping 500 attendees and not an empty seat in the house! The show is a finale to UW Fashion week hosted by Moda Magazine, UW Madison's premiere student-run life and style publication.
This show features models, both student and professional, showcasing pieces from local retailers, designers and students in UW-Madison’s Textiles & Fashion Design program. I was blown away by the amount of talent that went into the show. Last year was definitely a hard show to beat, but every year seems to get better and better!

I was so happy to be able to bring my best friend and best blogger friend, Tati! We are so thankful to have been invited to attend such an amazing event as VIP guests. We both received a fun goodie bag from the show's sponsors including Rent the Runway, Madewell, Kendra Scott, Revel, Vinyl Me Please, Hilldale, The Rock Agency, and American Provenance. We got to spend the entire weekend attending fashion-filled events! After hanging out in Madison all day for the show, we headed back to Milwaukee to spend the day in Walker's Point for Mercado Magic!
Mercado Magic
Mercado Magic is a weekend indoor market featuring local makers, collectors, tons of amazing products and vintage goods! Tati and I were invited to this weekend's event which included a mini fashion show showcasing some of the vintage clothing from the vendors involved. And yes, we did have a whole weekend of fashion shows and I am not complaining! Haha
The market takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-4pm until April 14th at Botanica Galactica (719 South 5th Street).
