Cival Collective Grand Opening | MKE Home

Hi loves!

You all know how much I adore supporting Milwaukee's local businesses, and this one I am especially excited about - Cival Collective!

Cival Collective is a local jewelry store as well as a boutique and studio space! I first heard of Cival last summer when I stopped by one of their booths at a festival in Cedarburg, and instantly fell in love with their unique pieces! I was so incredibly thrilled to attend their Grand Opening event last Friday to see their new space!

The store is absolutely stunning and totally encompasses the entire brand behind Cival Collective. Here's a little photo tour of the store:

How stunning, right?! The coolest part about their store is that it is a collective studio of creatives, including ___ who was the designer of the space! She also has the most dreamy lounge/office in the back room!

Some of the other creatives who share the space include:

Cora Flora, who is an insanely talented florist (as you can see below). Her arrangements are so delicate and beautiful. I couldn't even handle it! I wanted to take this gorgeous arrangement home with me!

As well as these simply beautiful leather bags by Jackalope Milk! You can find these in the back of the store.

Aside from the space's regular tenants, there were a few other guests at the event worth a look!

Local artist ___ had the cutest paintings and posters for sale!

As well as local photographer, Margaret Muza - who is not your average photographer. Margaret is actually a wetplate photographer, which means that she literally shoots portraits on one of those big vintage cameras you always see in the movies! (I'm talking the one's where the photographer has to go under a sheet to shoot the photo)

I was able to talk to her a little bit about her craft and she is the absolute sweetest soul with such passion for what she does. As a photographer myself, I was in awe to see one of these beauties alive and in action! Old photography methods are so interesting to me. I wish I would have gotten a portrait done, but she needed everyone to book with her ahead of time in order to bring the right amount of supplies.

All in all, I had an amazing time at the event and I am so excited for all of these creatives to have such a gorgeous new space. Cival Collective truly deserves all of the love in the world! They have the most beautiful pieces and space, and really just stand out as one of the most amazing small businesses in the city, and really are just such a great addition to the Milwaukee community.
